Exhibition: A Mosaic, Bursa
“Human migration is the movement by people from one place to another to settle temporarily or permanently in the new location.”
This project was started due to the realization of such phenomenon. Bursa is a mosaic city where people migrate to from a large variety of geographical places such as Artvin, Syria or Salonika. The reason is sometimes to provide their children with better educational facilities, sometimes unbearable yearning to a loved one or sometimes just by coincidence… Whatever the reason is, migration is an undeniable fact of today’s world, maybe an inherited feature of us from Middle Asia.
