lansmanBiography:
She was born in 1982 in Trabzon. Her interest in photography started as early as her childhood years, and she expanded that interest by adding ‘painting’ to it during high school years.

For almost ten years, she worked as a teacher at various educational institutions. During all this time, her interest in photography and painting didn’t fade away; on the contrary, she even received trainings. She felt closer to photography and eventually decided to concentrate on that.

Leading a lot of social projects in photography, her works have been exhibited at a great number of mixed exhibitions. Additionally she won awards at both national and international photography competitions. She presented her first personal work named ‘Balance (Denge)’ at the 19th Bursa Photography Days. She had her first photography exhibition named ‘Meeting Reality’ at the 1st Bursa International Photography Festival. She took part in the photography project ‘A Room of One’s Own (Virginia Woolf)’ with her photo collection called ‘One needs to survive’. She had her second exhibition called ‘The Harvest’ at the 3rd Bursa International Photography Festival, she also worked at the same festival as a field coordinator.

As an executive board member of BursaPhotoFest and a representative of Bursa City Council Photography Work Group, she still caters to the needs of enthusiasts through photography workshop and continues her works in the field of cinema.

Exhibition: 21 gr.
‘People lose about 21 grams the moment they die. That is the weight of the soul leaving the body. Scientists proved that in 1907 with an experiment in an enclosed bell glass.’

Soul travels towards the unknown, leaving all behind.
Carrying inside an end as well as a new beginning
Nothing it hangs onto in this world belongs to it
That is why it only takes its own weight with it as it travels alone
Leaving behind an emptiness of 21 grams.
