Exhibition: On The Nature of The Immigrant
As a figure, where the immigrant stands is a place where he cannot see the past, but one which destroys that which is distant. It represents the new individual as a representation of both the past and the future in the space it constructs.
A place, hence a micro space…
Then, where is the future?
This ageing body, this old building cut forest trees, the cemetery, this conflict and confrontation amidst the corn field in the broiling hot summer nights…
A man that preserves the things, the images, the objects and his lyricism in a non-discriminate way in the face of the nondirectional perception of the point in question that is the aforementioned reality, the time, the distance and the place.
In a world where we cannot see their spirits, the body keeps in the heart that which is distant to the eye.
